Her name is Amethyst, she is a Zingara.
Amethyst is a hand made doll 38 cm tall (15,50 inches). Created by the spanish artist Sonia Verdu from Doll´s Craft, her skin is bluish and translucent
(polimer clay) reinforced with strong polyurethane resin giving her skin a soft and very realistic
touch while the underskin resin adds the necessary strenght for all the articulated possitions.
Doll´s Craft have made up this new and unique way to combine the materials for their creations.
The pieces are assembled by strong pieces of rubber and wire.
Amethyst´s eyes are made by the artist in resin (purple color eyes) and her violet hair is made
of high quality mohair, her hair is not a wig. She wears in her wedding jewelry: a belt and pendant
of amethist in sterling silver (You can use them as a bracelet and pendant)
Due to her polymer clay skin it´s imposible to create two identical dolls since the art of giving shape
to the clay is a very important part of the process.
